Can soneone explain this statement?

“(his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically)”

Until this guy comes out in the public and personally endorses his findings (if his resume is accurate), this is going no where.

This statement is in reference to children born abroad. At the time of Obama’s birth, one of the parents had to be a legal adult, residing in the US for at least 5 years prior to the birth of the child.
