not in wind, windmills don’t produce enough energy to produce another windwill, if windmills were a viable energy source the dutch would be a world superpower
I live in the Coachella Valley, windmills scar the whole west end, all they have produced is subsidies for the investors, the electricity if you choose to use it comes at a premium. Wind power is a joke, it can only be used to sell in peak periods to other users, because it is not 100% predictable. No like hydro, pump backs, where you can store the energy. Solar we got plenty of, but I see no rush to jump into that, we have millions of acres with nothing on them but bugs, which is reason enough not to exploit the areas.
