If there were actual Extra Terrestrial Aliens and if they travelled to our world, then why the presumption that we were the first time they’d ever done so, and learned that you can’t just pop in on a planet and anounce yourself to all?
That’s equally as possible right?

Why the presumption they would first contact governments?Don't they usually go to the trailer courts first? Or at least deserted country roads?
At least someone out there appreciates my people!
