I think it´s inappropriate to name Obama “the Messiah”.

I agree. It's somewhat blasphemous.

He certainly manages to produce that kind of love and devotion in individuals who completely scoff at Christianity and mock Christians.

That’s the point...he has been declared the messiah by the socialist left...it is not a slap at THE MESSIAH...just at ‘their’ messiah
