I went to High School in a small town 60 miles South of Roswell ( Artesia, New Mexico )with Ed Mitchell and we took Physics class together and I have to say he was much more brilliant than I. I don't think for one minute that he is wrong in his statement regarding UFOs and little men. He was early recognized for his genius in math and science and received a scholarship at M.I.T. He has nothing to gain personally from his statement other than the truth.

He actually, could lose seriously,

IF the powers that be ordered him to reveal more and he refused. They are reportedly very tough task masters.

But I suspect they just nudged him along to do what he was already inclined to do but had been prevented from doing before.

No doubt he was good at math and physics. He is off into parapsychology and that isn't math or physics or even in the neighborhood of science.
