Top Astronaut: 'Aliens Do Exist'
11:37am UK, Thursday July 24, 2008 Aliens do exist and have even contacted humans on Earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the Moon. l-alien
Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men
The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.
And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.
Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

If you won’t provide the bona fides, then the only logical conclusion to be drawn is that you’re a poseur.
. . . then the only "logical" conclusion to be drawn is that youre a poseur.
That's soooooo cute.
In most brain-storming sessions over my adult life . . . some sharp co-participants would sometimes come up with 3-4 ideas. I commonly came up with 12-16. And here, my brilliant naysaying respondent seems to struggle to come up with the grand high number of
lil ol idea, one explanation for the data at hand.
Yet I'm supposed to be impressed with their erudite analytical mind!!!
It's also more than a little surprising
that there's still evidence of some sort of delusional assumption
that I have some level of motivation above -100% (quite below +100% for those in Rio Linda)
to provide even the time of day to some naysayers.
I didn’t ask for rambling psychobabble. I simply asked for bona fides.
Must you call in the calvary? Can’t stand on your own two feet?
Another delusion?
Have you
SCIENTIFICALLY OBSERVED
anyone acting like calvary?
How long has this sort of hallucination been occurring?
Does it only occur on these threads?
Might get that checked.
I suppose it could be that old
DIFFERENT
vs
SAME thing that some folks seem so chronically challenged to keep . . . separate.
Hint:
Folks enjoying a good joke
are not typically characterized as
calvary . . .
Though certainly, if Gabby Hays was in the movie, it’s quite possible that some calvary folks could also enjoy a good joke.
But in this thread, they are quite different . . .
as any minimally scientific observations would have made clear.
Perhaps the old scientific glasses need a new prescription?
Or perhaps it would work better to remove the VR goggles and return to more or less ‘normal’ reality before pontificating about things which one knows little about.
BTW,
BOTH my feet
and
BOTH my legs are working quite fine
BOTH
for wandering about
and
for
standing.
Are you saying, that it is just those who have faith alone in Christ alone, who can be attuned to these ‘visitations’?....I would have to say, that in all these mountains of ‘evidence’, there are many who would consider themselves in absolutely no relationship, with Christ at all, and yet still insist on these experiences...and there are many many folks, who have faith alone, in Christ alone, who absolutely do not believe in any of this stuff, because they find it simply unBiblical....their faith leads them to conclude, that no life, anywhere but on earth, originating nowhere but on earth, is all the life that there is...so for these faith alone, in Christ alone, the very notion of UFO’s and ET’s is totally unBiblical, and therefore completely unbelievable...
And so much of this supposed ‘evidence’ is hardly in the spiritual realm....there are folks reporting they found some small piece of a vehicle, from outer space and they took it to some lab, and the lab swears it was made out of something ‘alien’....ah, yes, and where is this piece and where is this lab, and where is the report?...POOF, they have all seemed to disappear....yeah, right...
And there is supposed to be physical proof at Area 51....tune in and watch Independence Day, the movie, for the specifics....
And on and on...anyone can make claims at any time...
My dad, a very clear and logical thinker, longed to see viable proof of life outside this earth....one time on his way to work, very late at night, he saw something in the sky, that he could not explain...he studied on it, made lots of phone calls and inquiries, and finally found out the ‘rational’ explanation, based on facts, for what he had seen...he did not go off, all wild eyed, making extraordinary claims of what he had seen....he could have sworn that what he saw was ‘proof’ of alien existence....instead he took the rational course, investigated and found the answers....
Most phenomenon that people report, has a plausible explanation, and that explanation is found....what cannot be explained, is the reason, I always leave open the belief, that there is life, somewhere here on earth, or out in space, that will surprise us all... it is ‘interesting’ that reports of UFO phenomenon are similar to reports of the spiritual domain....’interesting’, but hardly proof of any sort....
All that being said, I had an experience of encountering ‘something’ which would be in the spiritual realm, which to this very day, remains clear in my mind...it happened when I was probably around 10 or 12 and I was not the only one who experienced this, and did so at the exact same time I did...it is something that to this day, I cannot explain...but I dont go running around, claiming it was some sort of UFO visitation, or anything like that..it was just something I experienced...I figure, when I meet my Lord, I will find out what it was I experienced...
I did find what you said to be interesting, well presented, and something to mull over...so thanks for that, it was appreciated...
More jibber-jabber, in an attempt to deflect criticism. You have no bona fides, no credibility, any more than you have proof of ET’s.
Sagan was a raving liberal nutter, but at least he could provide some actual bona fides when asked.
VERY UNSCIENTIFIC
blather, conjecture, limited vision postulations . . . etc.
. . . off the wall and inaccurate as well, thankfully.
I am a little curious . . .
What linguistic malfunction leads one to conclude that someone not caring to bother giving the time of day to another would somehow care, be motivated to bother to give MORE than the time of day to said naysayers?
Seems MOST like a linguistic, UNscientific disconnect, to me.
In some regions of China only close friends learn the family name of others.
There's a logical disconnect, too. Which, should be expected for the evidently logically challenged . . . . why on earth would a sane person want to share anything 1/10th as significant as 'bona fides' with rabid naysayers?
Oh, I know, it's the delusion that once someone does something overwhelmingly gracious toward a naysayer, the naysayer will miraculously turn into an opposite sort of person . . . a gracious saint in response????
Boy is that GROSSLY LACKING IN SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT such a delusion! LOL.

The Questions U.F.O. skeptics can’t answer
You say that you know or think that extra-terrestrial/extra-dimensional beings can’t or don’t exist, are you saying that the eyewitness to an event can’t know these things either?
Are you limiting another person’s sphere of knowledge based on your pre-existing belief on these issues?
Example: If a high ranking government official comes out and says he has first hand knowledge that these things exist, do you limit what he/she can know based on your pre-existing belief on these issues?
If a person you know to be credible comes to you and says they were visited by these beings and this person has never been known to make up stories, do you say these things could not have happened based on your personal belief about these issues? Are you saying that your friend couldn’t know and experience these things based on what you believe?
If so, how is this logical? Are you saying that nobody can know about these things because you believe these things don’t or can’t exist?
If you are, then you are limiting others sphere of knowledge based on what you believe about these issues.

These are things they can not answer because a skeptic does not believe in UFOs, so there is no debate, no questions, no winning a debate with a debunker. They start and end with the premise that it is not true. They only exist to keep posting no! They have added a comedian in Bill NYE, as with the success of John Stewart, they need a lighter approach it seems!

People can not be convinced of something they don’t understand unless they experience it themselves. In this case, ET contact of UFO experiences for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, of 5th kind.
Skeptics are skeptic because of their lack of experience in matters such as these. They have no first hand experience so they try to rationalize from their own experiences to explain to someone what they’re saying/seeing is false or that the abductee or UFO witness have mis-interpreted or mis-understood what they saw by sharing their logical explanation.
How many UFO people who you see come forward on video all say the same thing at the beginning of their sentence.
Their sentence will begin by saying “I use to be a SKEPTIC and never believed it before until I saw and experienced it with my own eyes”.
Now, that does not detract from the fact that you have people with attention issues, dis-informationist, hoaxers, skeptics and monetary interest that will use the topic for their own reason. The INDIVIDUAL will have to be the ones who will have to investigate and figure out the real experiences from fake ones.
It’s the INDIVIDUAL who will have to find the truth from themselves, and if they choose to not believe and accept the norm, then it’s just a LIMITED educational background and LIMITED life experience in these matters that make them SKEPTICS.
What makes them skeptics is when they investigate claims from people with mental issues, dis-informationist, hoaxers that make them skeptics. Probably because they looked into these claims and found nothing but being duped. They might not find interest to investigate anyone else’s claims of UFOs or Abductions because of the people who “Cry Wolf”.
So you can’t really hate the skeptics, just educate the public and the pendulum will swing the other way. Some phenomenons can’t be rationalized ro calculated. Just experienced as an individual.
So do I believe that UFO’s exist? Yes, Real ones and MAN MADE ones.
Do I believe that there are other types of ET’s out there? Yes.
Do I believe aliens are HOSTILE? No, if they wanted to take over this planet, they would have a long time ago. The only threat to humans is humans, just look at history.
We are stuck in the cosmic play pen, and if can’t behave here on this planet, what makes you think we will be able to peacefully explore space?
Think about it, when you have a baby, do you let it crawl and let it roam the living room or kitchen? Or course not. Why, because it could hurt him or herself.
Same rule applies here,
That’s my two cents.

How very interesting. No mention of abductions by the "non-hostile" aliens, perhaps due to the limited educational background of the poster.
Am I not correct in stating that philosophy and philosophers considerably preceded the sciences and the scientific method?
As for the continuation of the species, there is one key that shows us how to adapt to anything: Judeo-Christianity. Its values and about 9,000 generations of our Western predecessors striving for them, is what got us to where we are right now, writing freely on our computers and pursuing in a slavery-free society our own destinies as we choose. Judeo-Christian values are proven antidotes to the problems we struggle with today and as humans forever. Species survive by adaptation; the bible tells us how to adapt spiritually and philosophically to each other. Without it, we are crude barbarians -- though too many of us don't realize it because we've forgotten where we came from.
In other words, don't put the cart before the horse. Philosophical groundwork is the horse that pulls the cart of science and progress and quests for knowledge. Judeo-Christian "philosophy" is a divine gift that guides us in continuation of the species.
I believe three freepers (or their spouse) have seen a similar craft to the McMinnville photos.
CLICK HERE: A Brief History of the McMinnville Photos
Here is an an enhanced photo I took of an object over Las Vegas (from poolside at the Paris hotel/casino) 3 or 4 years ago. Note that the red glow around the object was analysed as a plasma field.

Photo without enhancement
My opinion is that the above object in the photos is something we developed. As for the McMinneville object, I doubt we had that type of technology in the 40's.
INDEED.
THANKS.
WELL PUT.
Though the globalists have pretty well all but overtly established their new global tyrannical slave society.
I'm a bit skeptical, though, that some naysayers have the capacity to wrap their understanding fully around such wisdom given that they can't seem to comprehend that
someone who refuses to give them a microgram of chaff information is not about to consent to giving them 1,000 Kg of cherished information.
Perhaps the existence of numerical sequences . . . resulting in 1,000 being much greater than 0.000001 has escaped their comprehension.
Thx.
It’s refreshingly wonderful that someone’s awake with brain turned on! LOL.
May you have a Blessed Sunday.
Gotta keep the riff raff at least thinking about being more on their toes! LOL.

Nothing new here. We have one running for president.

IMMATURE, SELF-CENTERED, SELF DESTRUCTIVE SPECIES.
