Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men
The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.
And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.
Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

He's got a history of posting this True Believer nonsense, and the big reveal is always only days or weeks away. That's the kind of crap I've heard for decades. If you're old enough, you might remember that some morons (and Hollyweird publicists), shopped the idea around that Close Encounters was "proof", that the gubmint was slowly getting the populace acclimated to the idea. That was 30 years ago!
If aliens come here, we'll be very nice to them. There won't be squat we can do to something advanced enough to cross the expanse, and we damn sure won't be able to hold one hostage for decades and feed it strawberry ice cream.

It is pretty funny when you think about it...reminds me of these end times religious cults, where the leader annonces to the congregation, that the end if near, Jesus is coming, oh, say, Oct, 14, sell everything, get rid of all that you need, and let us meet together, for the great event...and of course,never, never does the ‘big event’ occur, and everyone looks like a fool....
This nonsense is no different...these weirdo time frames given, are just tooo hokey...when things dont come off as expected, other claims are made, “Oh, we misinterpreted, Oh, we read something wrong, Blah, blah, blah”....and then another time frame prediction comes out...Baloney....
But then, some folks invest great effort and time in compiling these so called stacks of so-called ‘evidence’, and think everyone else should agree with them....
Whatever is going to happen, regarding this, is going to happen...and no one here or anywhere else is some sort of extra special super duper prophet, who with his boxes and files of special evidence, can make any kind of an accurate prediction...
Then there are people who believe all this hooey....I for one, dont...anecdotal tales, opinion polls, odd reports, etc, do not make for any kind of credible evidence, and certainly dont allow some folks to think they can make such weirdo predictions...

The truly sad thing, tho, is that there may very well be those things, such as UFO’s, ET’s, ghosts, faires, leprechauns, Loch Ness Monster, Yeti, Big Foot, that do exist....but since no credible true evidence exists, I remain skeptical....if and when credible and true evidence comes along, then we will all be more informed...I live very near to Mt. Rainier, in Washington State...every time we go up there, high up in the mountains, I look over the expanse of millions of acres, and actually do wonder, if out there, there is something like a Big Foot, or some other creature, that we have not yet found credible evidence for...but it is only a daydream I have when up in the mountains, and I forget about, in due course....
All the crackpot stories floating around, all the opinion polls in the world, all sorts of weirdo anecdotal stories, all sorts of strange and specious claims being made, do not provide ‘evidence’ of any of this stuff...

But what other choice do we have? Can't just wait for something better. It's the striving to understand that produces greater knowledge and as a side benefit *usually* produces some good toys and tools as well.

There is tons of concrete evidence and more coming out all the time.
I think weeds are one thing I come pretty close to hating in life . . . maybe over the line into full blown hate on occasion.

Exactly, thats why an open mind is needed, not one bound by earthly absolutes. I have a friend a few years older than me that was raised as an only child. He believed his dad hung the moon so to speak. We were talking politics one day and he mentioned that a politician HAD to be a lawyer. I explained to him that just about anyone could hold an elected office. Nope, he insisted they had to be a lawyer because thats what his dad had told him as a kid. This man is over 50 years old but he had to cling onto this belief, because, to believe otherwise he would have to question what his dad told him as a kid, he was unwilling to let go of that.So it is today with people and subjects like this.To believe that other inteligent life might exist would mean having to suspend belief in something or someone else.Many people are unwilling to do that.
