Top Astronaut: 'Aliens Do Exist'
11:37am UK, Thursday July 24, 2008 Aliens do exist and have even contacted humans on Earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the Moon. l-alien
Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men
The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.
And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.
Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

Such sweet thoughtfulness.
Is this an admission of chronic cluelessness and wholesale ignorance of the topic?
Thanks tons for your affirmation.
I’m confident you are quite accurate.
He actually, could lose seriously,
IF the powers that be ordered him to reveal more and he refused. They are reportedly very tough task masters.
But I suspect they just nudged him along to do what he was already inclined to do but had been prevented from doing before.
Naw.
I thought the X-files were mostly hoakey.
And, they didn’t reveal diddly squat.
I think they were just a social conditioning thing as have been a lot of the sci-fi movies—some seeded by the powers that be.
But, hey, enjoy the being poorly informed. I understand about it helping one sleep at night.
Besides, the half-life on that perspective is rapidly decreasing.
You will remember your assertions to me and have very different feelings about them sooner than either one of us would prefer.
YES!
In fact the Demoncrast are really ALIENS!
That’s why they don’t give a you know what about people they represent. They are thinking about the interests of those on the planet they really live on.
Officials from Nasa have said the organisation did not track UFOs and was not involved in a cover up. A spokesman added: “Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.”
Neither do I.
Probably looking for attention.
Be sure to update your predictions as needed because at the end of 2008 I will be laughing at you when no economic collapse comes, and in 18 months I will be laughing harder when the “evidence” for UFO contact isn't made public.
Maybe then you might question your “sources” but somehow amid your messianic delusions I doubt it.
LOL.
Fits for me.
I just figure their traitorous heads are in dark places . . . and when they pull them out—they look around and see hell and quickly reinsert them.
So, please, PLEASE tell us
How do you account for all the recent data points in your cosmology?
I’m all ears and eyes.
You’re kidding, right?
You just had to bring that up. And to add insult to injury, the folks in the ER just laughed at me when I told them what happened.
Please make a note on your calendar and check in at intervals.
Are you a Seinfeld fan?
“It was a million-to-one shot, doc. A million to one!”
No doubt he was good at math and physics. He is off into parapsychology and that isn't math or physics or even in the neighborhood of science.
So God created a huge universe, put life on one planet, and gave the rest over to Satan? Wow... You think God wouldn't just handover 99.99999% of His Creation to Satan. The case you're making is that Satan is more powerful than God. Just whose side are you on?
After all, why shouldn't God create, through whatever means, more than one intelligent species to proclaim His glory? He's more than worthy enough. Just whose side are you on?
Funny thing is, given the diverse possibilities of form that life could take, per the teachings of evolution, intelligent life could take a huge variety of forms. There is no reason it would have to look even close to human.
As such, if there are aliens that closely resemble humans and who are easily capable of communicating with us. That would be evidence that there is some template to creation that is not random. It would, indeed, be evidence for a Creator. And yet, here you are suggesting that some of the best evidence for a Creator would actually be the work of Satan. Just whose side are you on?
If Satan is the great deceiver, it's quite possible that he would try to trick us into thinking his minions are good guys. But it's just as possible that the deceiver would try to trick us into thinking Godly creatures are his minions. Just whose side are you on?
Rationalize WHAT away? Look, I am not suggesting that there is no other life in the entire universe. I AM suggesting that Mitchell's claims that earth has been visited by aliens, that government scientists/agencies have been examining alien bodies in secret for 40 years, etc., are a bit far-fetched.
Let's assume that there IS other life elsewhere in the universe. Personally, I consider it quite likely that there is. Now, consider that radio signals only started being broadcast on Earth in 1901 - 107 years ago.
This means that nothing more than 107 light-years from Earth could even know that there's anything or anyone here. And that assumes that the radio signal could possibly be picked up that far away. But let's assume that by some incredible quirk of fate, an alien civilization a mere 50 light-years away picked up the signal (keeping in mind that our galaxy is some 100,000 light-years across, making such proximity remarkable, to say the least). Even IF they could travel at the speed of light, and even IF they left their planet the instant they picked up the radio signal from Earth, and even IF they could travel at or near the speed of light, they would only have arrived here LAST YEAR.
In order for aliens to have visited earth in the 40's, 50's, or 60's, not only would they have had to be very close to earth to begin with, they would also likely have to be capable of traveling many times the speed of light.
Now, you can throw around theories about worm holes, higher dimensions than the 4 we all know, or aliens on Mars, or whatever, but I find it astonishingly unlikely that aliens have been visiting earth.
This is not because I refuse to believe they exist (no one knows one way or the other), it is just that it is so incredibly unlikely that any are close enough to earth to have become aware of our existence (a sphere of 107 light-years from earth, relative to the size of our galaxy alone, is pretty tiny), much less to have gotten here.
We've been listening and searching for signals in space for a couple of decades now, and we've found zilch. Is this because there are no other civilizations in all of the universe? Not necessarily. It is just as likely that none of them have been around long enough, broadcasting signals strong enough, and from close enough, for us to even be aware of their existence.
The point is that the universe is a pretty big place, and the odds of two civilizations ever coming into contact with one another are incredibly remote. Equally remote are the odds that aliens have been visiting earth for decades, abducting people, crashing and leaving bodies behind for shadowy government agencies to examine, etc., without any solid proof ever coming to light. It's ridiculous.
Now, why don't you try to rationalize a strong belief that aliens HAVE been here? That I'd like to see. Actually, no I wouldn't. I've already read and heard plenty on the subject, and none of it has been any more convincing (or supported by facts and/or logic) than Mitchell's claims.
And, PLEASE tell us . . .
—what you think is going to happen and not happen in the next 18 months nationally and geopolitically.
—and HOW MANY THOUSANDS OF PAGES OF QUALITY TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE on the UFO etc. topic have you read over how many years?
—and how old are you?
I’m 61. I have a high quality intense PhD wherein I was taught by some very famous folks; My IQ is well over the genius level. My reality testing is quite solid. I’ve met quite a number of folks IN ADDITION TO my relative . . . who had first hand knowledge . . .
I’m not the least bit insecure about the essence of my beliefs on the matter.
Time will tell.
