Jeff Dufour and Patrick Gavin, in the Tuesday edition of the Washington Examiner’s "Yeas & Nays" feature, reported that Helen Thomas gave a vehement denial of whether the media, and the White House press corps in particular, has a liberal bent...somebody on Glenn Beck in for Larry King last night - maybe Peter Beinert - opined that the press knows that they're overcovering Obama, but they just feel that McCain has no "sizzle" and don't have a good time covering his campaign - imagine some surgeon approaching the operating table and complaining "oh no another appendectomy - they're no fun - turn on the TV so I can watch while I knock this one out" - yet the press wants the public to see them as professionals......

The media have lost touch with accuracy and truth - they have crossed over into the belief news should be ‘entertaining’ to the audience.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. Start treating the public as grown up intelligent beings who want some facts delivered, boring or not, minus the personal animosity and opinions.
