Whomever wins this year is doomed to a single term, and their VP doomed to being tied to their failure. Neither the Republican or Democrat tickets have the needed abilities to fix the impending problems that are rapidly crashing down on us.
The pragmatic strategic shifty side of me wants Mitt on the ticket for that reason, we can be done with him.
Then we can get about the business of fixing the country, say Barbour/Palin 2012...

Social conservatives and evangelicals cannot but smart over his former earnest declarations of his determination to "protect a woman's right to choose" and his famous statement during a campaign debate that he would be a better senator for gays than Ted Kennedy. In the primaries, evangelicals all backed Huckabee rather than Romney.
Mormons consider it acceptable to vote by 90% for mormons, live in a mormon theocracy, and give business preference to other mormons, yet preach from their lofty perch to others on who they can cast their ballot for. Litmus test? You bet!

Seeing as how Clear Channel hosts Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity and controls over 1,000 TV and radio stations nationwide, does anyone here really think Romney won’t use this to promote his candidacy as VP, however subtly? Really?

You tell me why Rush did an abrupt 180 degree turnaround on Romney after the deal with Bain went through. Prior to that, his hints were that Fred Thompson was his candidate. Money talks.
I found three "so-called" examples on this thread alone, but NONE actually called Romney a conservative and for good reason. Romney is a liberal, aka. a Rockefeller Republican. [Ref:#87] And no amount of obfuscation on your part will ever cover up that fact.

An angel tells Nephi of the blessings and cursings to fall upon the Gentiles—There are only two churches: the Church of the Lamb of God and the church of the devil—The saints of God in all nations are persecuted by the great and abominable church—The apostle John shall write concerning the end of the world.
