CALGARY — A white supremacist group that is offering to help pay the rent of new members as part of its "relocation program - destination Calgary" has raised the ire of the city's mayor.
"The Aryan Guard is always seeking new brothers and sisters, if you are interested in relocating to our Calgary area, we will pay the damage deposit for your residence," a local member of Aryan Guard has posted on stormfront.org, a chat group that promotes "white pride."
"We believe that through fortifying our current locations with more White Nationlists [sic] we can spread the world more efficiently and than in the future branch out further throughout Canada," wrote the member, who called himself "pitbull-A.G."
Yesterday, Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier called the offer "distasteful," adding that offering cash incentives to join is evidence of the group's lack of support in the city.
"We don't support that group nor what they stand for," Mr. Bronconnier said.
Still, the eyebrow-raising offer has generated support among followers of the Neo-Nazi group as well as discussion about job opportunities in Canada's energy-rich boomtown.
"This announcement pleases me," one man from London, Ont., wrote on the website, "This is exactly one of the things we ought to be doing. We should start doing this in London too. The government can't do a thing to us just for helping other Whites settle in our cities. Whether it's helping them find a place to stay or find a job, all perfectly legal."
Aryan Guard, which boasts a few dozen members in Calgary, has been holding rallies and posting flyers around the city this year. The public displays have prompted anti-racism groups to hold counterprotests. Police in Edmonton expressed concerns about the group getting a toehold in that city.

quite frankly, it is a sign of support.
Even a brain dead liberal must know that money comes from somewhere brsides the government.
So, your security deposit paid, and good job opportunities in Calgary. How much of a neo-Nazi do you have to be? Would you have to go out and beat people up, or would you just have to go to a few rallies now and then?
Construction jobs are plentiful in Cow Town. Houses, condos, downtown buildings, etc are going up all over the place.

Seriously the way the left is going now they are leaving themselves wide open for a movement of this type. I would prefer the conservatives of the world rose up and revolted, leaving it to Nazis could turn pretty ugly for everyone.
Sort of the way the Democrats attract voters by promising welfare payments.
I loathe nazis, neo and “classic”.
I also loathe anarchists and communists. No one batted an eyelash when they were placing ads on Craigslist to get unemployed youth to move to key cities for “protest” where they would be paid and offered housing (and indoctrination?).

There is ZERO in common between Bush/FR and the white supremacist “neo-nazis” (are those terms interchangeable?) and nothing “fascist” about our politics either.
It is wrong to believe that the counter of communism is fascism. Those are competing ideologies along the same trajectory. Like Sunni and Shia.
But as the Left gets totally turned off to the American model of government and an appreciation of ALL of the Constitutionally protected rights, they may embrace a number of radical international models that were long to have thought to have been defeated. And the open disdain for Christianity (under the guise of atheism but there is no outright refutation of the other faiths) and open practice of antisemitism leaves the radical Left ripe for joining some pretty ugly movements that have a history of such hatreds.
I don’t like to see this happening among any group and I agree that the media shouldn’t pick and choose which hate groups to write about engaging in this practice. Out them all.
These are not hate groups they are seperatists.
They just want other races to “move on”.
Neither group wants a piece of the pie.
They want their own bakeries.
This is not the America we grew up in.
I am sorry but you misunderstood my statements. I did not imply that I thought Nazis would be a good replacement for communism, the only replacement for either of them is a Democratic republic, such as ours, if you can keep the left of it. The left to me includes both nazis and communist. However there are those who don’t know anything about history or politics but see the communist as threats and would jump onto the Nazi bandwagon, it happened in Germany, it could happen here. Hell, communism is happening here. We need to fight back hard.

Just curious, why isn’t the NFL or NBA trolling for more whites to play in their leagues when they are 60-70% black?
MLB, NASCAR, the PGA and the NHL are all whining (via Jesse, Bryant Gumbel and Bob Ley) to get more blacks in those areas...
I am not endorsing these Neo-Nazis in any way, their open hatred of Jews/Minorities isn’t a good philosophy...my point is that political correctness drives logic away to pursue a Marxist, faux-equality.
