Are you kidding. He was virtually the only candidate not talking about gloom-and-doom. He is a very positive, forward-looking person.
he wasnt even popular within the republican base during the primaries
Yeah, because you had Huckster taking all of the naive faith-based voters and giving McCain a firewall.
McCain should ask Jindal to be his running mate.
Which will neutralize Obama's lack of experience.
So where do I start? In response to my claim that Romney ‘brings no excitement, interest, or value to McCain’s ticket’, you write that Romney is a ‘very positve, forward-looking person’. A nonsequitur response to be sure, but beyond that, I’m not looking for Tony Robbins in the White House, I’m looking for a principled, firm leader.
You complain about Huckabee taking votes from Romney? Tell you what, if Romney can’t even out-poll a stiff like Mike Huckabee, don’t try to tell me he’s a popular and viable candidate.
And then you focus on Jindal’s ‘experience’, without even understanding a far more significant point, which is drawing focus to the immigrant/minority issues. Jindal personifies how it should be done, openly appreciates this country, and undermines Obama and his darling wife’s whiny, negative portrayal of America. Not to mention that Jindal can actually talk, a skill that has been lacking among Republican spokesmen for the past 20 years since Reagan. What a bunch of verbally and conceptually-challenged clowns we have running out there.
