So what? Anyone who values the truth, who depends on fact-based reality to live their lives, knows the affair was bad from the beginning. The term ‘preaching to the choir’ has a well-earned negative connotation.

Our opposition does not limit itself to sticking to the facts. They either remember something in a way completely different from how it actually happened, or they simply lie to suit the occasion.
