And don’t forget the drastic GOP losses on his watch in MN. Not a strong leader. It’s why I tout Sanford. The party keeps growing on his watch and he’s actually a porkbuster.

I love the guy but he is too conservative for McCain and probably not a cultist.

I feel so badly for him.

Even the second example he gave - about earmarks - was a stretch (the first, NAFTA, totally wrong), because it’s untrue that Bush is fine with earmarks. He speaks against them quite often. He thinks Congress should eliminate them. The difference is, McCain claims he will VETO ALL BILLS WITH EVEN ONE EARMARK IN THEM.

But that’s not how Sanford put it...
