Sorry about your transition; it has taken your blog from biting humor to mellow.

Thank you. Rest assured, I am just as cranky as ever. ;-) I haven't been able to give the blog very much attention lately, because I've been working on a story that I'm submitting to a literary magazine contest. I've never entered a writing contest before, so cross your fingers for me!
