“Play away Tony. We hear you loud and clear!!!!!”
Those words started me crying all over again, cleveland gop. They would be a beautiful tagline even tho I’m sure I would cry every time I saw it.
I’ve been having own test of faith over Tony’s death. But then I think of Kendall’s singing Promised Land for her father and wondering where she found the strength, in all her grief, to be able to sing. And Robbi, bearing his Father’s ashes without sobbing, Jill tightly clutching Kendall and Kristi’s hands as they followed, but no visible tears. They were probably all cried out. Where did they get their strength? From Tony, who was everything to them, as they were to him.
When my Grandmother died, my Mother said “We’re not crying for Grandma, she’s in Heaven. We’re crying for ourselves”. I have to remember that. I think probably any music I hear from now on will remind me of Tony, our own Music Man.
I see I have a Snowflake ping. We need to keep them up, to keep gathering, for Tony! :)
You have a pretty nice tag line yourself.
