Many men are very capable to stay home to care for the kids. Men live an average of 8 years less than women due to the stress of earning a living. I don’t think any woman has an argument about the difficulties of raising kids versus banging out a career.

Anyone is “capable”.
Not everyone does stay home with the kids, and not everyone is good at it.
So like I said - spouses should be thankful for each others’ contributions.

I remember reading it has more to do with men ignoring trips to the doctor - or ignoring signs they are in poor health.

I’ve done both.
Being home is harder work, but it is more rewarding.
Becoming adversaries and trying to play oneupmanship is never good for a marriage.
No one wins at that game.
