At 6 p.m. Britt showed a clip of Tony on his last day at the White House and I missed his exact comment—perhaps someone else has it—but I understood Britt to say this comment would also have been Tony’s very last thought:
“I wish I could have stayed longer”.
Omigosh I just cried over that. So poignant and we can’t even imagine his anguish knowing his time was drawing to a close...
