Thanks to Tony, Surferboy & Radioproducer for bringing us all together through the radio show.
I’ve missed the Tony Snow Show thread here ever since Tony left it to become GWB’s press secretary. This weekend it’s really hit home just how much I miss it.
It helped a lot yesterday (Saturday) morning that the SNOWflakes found one another and we were able to share our grief and memories. Tony would have wanted just that for us.
Hear Hear!!
Hi everybody,
Thank you so much for all your kind remembrances of Tony. I know he would appreciate every word.
It’s been a tough weekend for all of us, I think, but the love that we all share for Tony is very comforting. He was a special, special person.
Tony once told me that the most important thing you can do with your life is love your family. “When you’re on your deathbed,” he said, “you’re not going to be thinking about your job or what upset you that day. You’re going to be thinking about your spouse and your kids.” I said to him, “You might remember your job.” He laughed and replied, “I’ll remember one or two things. But mainly my family.”
The first thing I did in honor of Tony was to tell my husband and my parents how much I love them. I can’t think of a better way to remember Tony Snow.
