You should read the APs obit, on Snow. It reads more like an op-ed piece than a tribute. Gives one sentence to his speech writing days, nothing about his contributions to the Rush Limbaugh program, and many lines about how he “scolded” and talked down to the press corps.
The infants in the press corps needed to be talked to like children. They have all been more than deserving to be verbally spanked, and only the Snowman could do it with a smile.
Tony never talked down to anyone, but if anyone deserves to be talked down to, it’s the WH press corps. Being with them is probably like being with a bunch of 7th graders with raging ADD after they’ve each had a liter of Mountain Dew.
