I find it interesting that Andrew Card said they were trying to get Tony on board as press secretary back when he was first diagnosed. That means that they were trying to find a replacement for ol Scotty boy.
So true ... he really has set the standard in
so many ways: media professional, press secretary,
solid Christian, devoted husband and father.
What a sterling role model for us all.
Hard to believe that my whole day has been spent
on someone I never even personally knew ... but he,
his spirit, optimism and integrity truly touched my
heart and soul. I’m truly sorrowful .. like I lost
a loved one.
