I think to myself, her first “choice” should have been to keep her legs together

Lol ... haven't heard that expression in years. Everytime I turn on the tv, they seem to be promoting little blue pills, lubricating gels and a pharmaceutical product to reduce the risk of contracting genital herpes from your partner.

There is must to be said about abstinence!

I come from a family of plain speakers, to be sure. My son and his friends from grade school who are all now in their early twenties still get together in our kitchen for “visits”. They tell a story on my mother who always made sure she was there to pick them up and take them to their practices and care for them when I was working.

They say she picked them up one day from school while in sixth grade and they were all abuzz about “sex” education. My mother usually never inserted herself into their after school deflation, but they say they almost fell out of the car when my mother said, “I'll make it simple for you. If you aren't ready to take on all the responsibility a child demands, keep your pants zipped.”

To this day, they all remember that day. They laugh and then say they wish she was still here — she made the best cookies. ;-)
