Yelling? Verbal abuse? Property damage? That pretty much describes one of my former offices (and that was when we were allowed to drink at lunch, smoke at our desks, and "read" adult magazines).

The steel industry in the 1990's was a real throwback. I miss those days . . . it was crazy.

I was in the steel industry in the 90's as well (in sales); I was also in my mid-twenties...and I'm female.

It was quite the eye-opening experience; I had a blast! My favorite customers were the least "corporate"...small trailer manufacturing facilities and such out in rural KS and IA; I dealt with the big fabricators as well, but the smaller guys sure had a lot more fun!
