"Whoever runs the the Congressional GOP campaigns need to hammer that info home. The GOP is not in charge and that the 2 years that the Dems have been in office have been two of the worst in US history, well maybe not in history but if things continue as is it could end up being the worst."

If the MSM and Democrats can call Bush's economy with a near 8% GDP growth worse than the Great Depression, then we can call the Democrats' recent two years of the economy THE WORST IN HISTORY, EVER! ;-)

"Now that the Democrats control Congress, do you approve of the job Congress is doing, or disapprove of the job Congress is doing?"

Or even better:

"Now that the Democrats control Congress, and have an approval rating in the single digits, do you approve of the job Congress is doing, or disapprove of the job Congress is doing?"

And 90% or whatever of them will be reelected.

the last thing I would want to do is run as a Dem or Rep...

This is very hard to do, since congress/state-office candidates must rely on grass-roots pubs/dems as a source of volunteers. The volunteers that help a campaign are the most active, and probably also active in the local pub/dem committees.

We need to keep getting the word out that the idiots who elected a democrat congress got exactly what they wanted....including the $4.00+ gallon of gas

And that's exactly the way it should be phrased, but it won't. The R's are too busy playing nice and sharing the blame, while the D's are pointing their finger at the R's and screaming "They did it!" "It's allllll their fault!!"

King George III's approval rating was higher than that in 1776.

Well, I’m sure these angry voters will vote the bums out
this November, eh? Here in MA all 10 Reps are up for
re-election as is Sen. Kerry. Any chance any of them
could be defeated?

KERRY—Opponent is Jeff Beatty, GOP

The Reps—all Democrats: John Olver, Richard Neal, Jim
McGovern, Barney Frank, Nikki Tsongas, John Tierney,
Ed Markey, Mike Capuano, Steven Lynch, Bill Delahunt.

Not sure how many of them _even have opponents_. What
are the odds that the MA voters will “throw (ANY OF)
the bums out”?

Good one.

This is probably how the MSM polsters asked the question when Republicans were in control.

"Since the Republicans control Congress and have thoroughly wrecked the economy, do you approve or dissaprove of the job Congress is going?"

48% of the American people are dumber than a box of rocks.

“What's going on?!”

I would bet “more than one beer” that 95% of the Democrats who run for reelection will win.

Depends on two things...

Recently I’ve been asking store clerks who runs D.C., Dems or repubs. I am astounded. Many can’t even name the V.P. but they hate Bush but can’t state why or state why we are in Iraq or what the threat from Iran is. My gawd, be afraid...be very afraid....these people vote and will probably vote for nObama.

My MIL is a 84 year old Democrat and I had to remind her last weekend that the Rats control both houses. She replied that the high gas prices are still the Republicans fault!

How does one penetrate a skull that politically and economically ignorant?!

In other news, George Bush has gone from twice as popular as Congress to three times as popular as Congress.

His approval rating remains 28%

Pelosi is trying for negative ratings. She thinks that if fewer than 0% approve, then that is a double negative, which means that it’s a positive.

Do you know if that is 48% of the people or voters?

This is the richest landscape that I have ever seen for third party candidates to get elected. If I were running for Congress the last thing I would want to do is run as a Dem or Rep.

If your opponent were "congress" you might win. If all congressional districts were polled, concerning their own congressman, you'd see quite different results. it's generally the other guy's congressman who is worthless.

48% of the American people are dumber than a box of rocks.

And the same reason why Hussein will win in a landslide against a liberal like McCain.

It's convenient to blame everything on Bush. That's just how it operates with the Left, unfortunately.
