I agree, she would be a vote-magnet. McCain needs to do something that is so completely unexpected, to counter Obama’s unprecedented nomination if he hopes to win, and choosing her may just be the answer. Just as Obama is expected to draw the vast majority of blacks, have Palin on the Republican ticket would bring many woman into the Republican fold, imo.

Would A McCain/Palin ticket be enough to defeat Obama say over a McCain/Romney ticket, I do not know? But McCain does not have the excitement factor that Obama has and that may very well lead to McCain's defeat. Palin would do a lot to boost McCain and hopefully prevent his defeat.
