Because of McCain’s age, it is reasonable for voters to think that McCain’s VP choice will have a better chance of becoming President than is usually the case. So the choice has to be seen as able to take over. Because of lack of experience Palin and Jindal should not be selected. IMO it should be either Romney or Pawlenty, and the choice should be made now.
Picking a Democratic patsy, tainted with with his
introduction of the Democratic HillaryCARE plan,
like Romney is a losing proposition.
I know scores of people who voted for Romney, were burnt,
and will never vote for him again.
