I don’t think so. Most people don’t vote because of the VP

true in the past, but when have conservatives had so little to get excited about?

She is all rhetoric...

She is not the ticket...

Give me a firebrand like a Margret Thatcher and I will vote for a matron like her for President...

Yep, this is really what we want to see sitting in the White House...

We shall put them to the test...

‘Palin’s first veto was used on legislation that would have barred the state from granting benefits to gay state employees and their partners. In effect, her veto granted State benefits to same-sex couples. The veto occurred after Palin consulted with her attorney general on the constitutionality of the legislation.[23]”

My second reply...

I hope there is not censorship here?

That is not conservative...

I would eagerly vote for a matron woman Like Margret Thatcher.

This lady is no Margret Thatcher...

She is a pawn for the establisment...

“There are still people in my party who believe in consensus politics. I regard them as Quislings, as traitors... I mean it.”
Margaret Thatcher

As much as I dislike McCain, I like Palin. I’d vote for her....if that crotchety old backstabber has to be on the ticket as well? So be it.

“Most people don’t vote because of the VP”

When was the last time that either party nominated someone at the top of the ticket that large portions of their base distrusted and hated?

He might find a fight from the Alaskans! I don’t think they would easily give her up, if I lived there I sure wouldn’t want to! Ditto Jindal and Louisiana citizens.

Palin is a better choice than anyone that BO will pick

Alas, Palin is quite busy trying to get the feds to abide by the 10th amendment and quit telling Alaskans what they can do with ANWR!!!

Palin would be a brilliant VEEP pick! She would put the focus of this election where it should: the out of control environmentalism that has been the cornerstone of the Democrats. They are solely to blame for the gas crisis and they have no one else but themselves to blame.

The American people need to see the peril that environmentalism has placed on our nation's security. The message needs to be clear and done by someone that is dramatic and has that interest factor that will keep people listening.

Sarah Palin will have that appeal to draw people to the TV to hear her message. All of those fearful mothers worried about whether they can afford getting to work and picking up children from those important after school activities will be looking to Sarah's words about gas prices. Single women fearful about having to ride a bus full of wierdos will also be looking to Sarah's words. Wives worried about their husband's business with increased gas costs will also listen.

The Democrats have had their chance to reduce gasoline prices and now the Republicans, with someone like Sarah Palin, can hit the ball out of the park!

The founders of our country sacrificed much for liberty. I think Sarah Palin of Alaska has the right stuff to rise to the occasion.

I think McCain is going to have to find someone out of work, I mean who would quit a job to run as McCain’s VP with a very real chance of losing? But I do you all can convince our buff & tan GQ Governor Charlie Crist to take the plunge.

Sara IS NOT a conservative.

Growth of state govt in her first year 23%
SHe pushed taxes on oil to more than Hugo taxed oil (until he Nationalized the oil companies)

THe gas pipeline deal has “insedier’ written all over (Her minister pushing the Canadian company used to work the very same outfit)

Killed construction projects as too expensive yet wanted to BOND for 23 million in roads (guess where they would be built?)

Pi$$ed away 100 of thou on a failed state dairy (her Valey friends, again)

the list goes on.

IF anything Sara is a bigger RINO that John.

But hey, I only live here.....

Sometimes I am ashamed to be a freeper. Yea she is a babe and takes good pictures. She has also given Alaska the biggest budget in history, even more than the democrat she defeated for Gov. She works hand in glove with the democrats in the the legislature to demonize other republicans who disagree with her. Oh yea she came in on a wave anti corruption but has taken that to mean that anyone who disagrees with her is a criminal (sounds like a democrat). The usual disclaimer applies here: I voted for her, contributed the maximum amount to her campaign and had great hopes for her. All in all she is the perfect match for Juan.

She has been Alaska’s governor for less than two years. Before that she was the mayor of Wasilla, AK, population 6,000. I don’t know what sorts of problems she addressed in her town of 6,000, but it’s not like she was the mayor of a major city.

If McCain picks Palin, he loses one of his key arguments against Obama and that is EXPERIENCE.

I had the pleasure of talking to Palin several times in late 90's at legislative office. She's the real deal. I watched her lower prop taxes and thru her integrity; gain the public's support. Even after the good old boy repub network tried to destroy her politically; she didn't attempt a 3rd party run against Murkowski; if she had we would have had a dem gov. She didn't burn her bridges to the Repubs; she did the right thing for Ak and waited another few years. Then the repub voters elected her over Mukowski; everybody had watched what went on over the last few years.

Ya know, Sarah Palin does the right thing; that's what is important and that's why she has so much support across Alaska. I'm sure many Repubs hate her over some of her positions, but she can get elected. The swing voters in the middle are who throw elections. I think Palin would be much more a Nov election time asset than many other possible conservative Repubs. I wouldn't trust too many politicals of either party, I'd believe Palin from her record over the last dozen years.
