[The wheels of justice grind slowly; it has taken just over three years to get to this point. I have no doubt that Sandra Tanner will choose to view this decision as an injustice (rather than justice) and to play the victim. It will be interesting to see how UTLM reacts to today’s decision. I can report, however, that in the Wyatt household there is much joy.]

But you realize what this says about FAIR and FARM as well as the LDS don’t you? They couldn’t win a fair fight on the Internet with the Tanners, so they were forced to go the route of subterfuge and deceit. It speaks a lot about the Mormon church.

The Mormon Church has had a longstanding practice of being less than truthful with respect to their doctrine and history to both members and potential converts. This deception is commonly referred to as lying for the lord and milk before the meat. -Zakeet

“so they were forced to go the route of subterfuge and deceit.”

Except two courts rejected the idea that there was anything deceptive about it. It was a very clear example of tounge in cheek parody, which REQUIRES the reader to realize that it is a deliberate parody to get the joke.

What was deceptive (or just stupid) was suing for trademark infringement when THEY HAD NO TRADEMARK.
