I disagree. McCain could even win Minnesota.

If continues Leftward he could win NY, but lose MS, AR, etc. in south.

New York State is in play. Definitely. Don’t throw your vote away, fellow New Yorkers.

“Despite New York’s political reputation as Democratic stronghold, the head of Sen. John McCain’s Empire State presidential campaign team believes the Arizona Republican can win the state, including Upstate and Western New York.”

Well he IS liberal enough.

I’m sorry. But Bob Dole was just as bad or worse. Good man, terrible candidate. Ran a disastrous campaign. McCain has time to get his act together. If he would just stop pissing off conservatives...

His campaign needs to wake up. He does not win any votes from the left with some of the kooky things he says. But he does tempt conservatives to sit it out. He doesn’t have to pander to us. We will vote against Obama, if we can bring ourselves to vote. Just quit saying things that piss us off.

I'm not that pessimistic. McCain was about my last choice, but compared to Obama, it's a no brainer.
