Using the “suffering” term was a bit extreme.

When I think of “suffering” people, I’m thinking countries like:

Zimbabwe
Myanmar
Sudan

Not the USA.

Are there poor here? Yes. But not on the order of magnitude seen elsewhere in the world.

Over the weekend I went with some folks in our church to serve at a homeless ministry outreach.

I saw plenty of people that were homeless - but I didn’t see any starving people. They were hungry for that day’s meal, and a good sized percentage were overweight.
