AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
My local company comes by once a month from Oct-April, and not at all from May-Sep, unless they're called. I have a 500gal tank, and they pump enough each cold-weather month to bring it up to full. I dunno if that's standard, or just the practice around here. I usually go through 125+ gallons per month in Dec-Jan-Feb, less in other months.
Hi Fawn! I have a woodburning stove, but the hard labor involved, plus the soot, makes me prefer to use it only during severely cold weekends. However, if propane continues to go up, I may change my mind.
I’ve got a 500 gal tank also. Since they only fill to 80%, that means 400 gals. In Aug, the co-op I get my propane from usually runs a ‘summer fill-up’ discount program. A dime discount/gal. That’s when I fill up. Then in Dec- Jan, whenever my neighbor across the road has a delivery, I have him top mine off. My neighbor’s tank is only a 250 and they don’t burn, so they get a couple of deliveries/yr.
Last I heard (May?) propane was $3.00 here...how much by you?
Growing up we had a wood burning stove and yeah it’s alot of work and can be messy....but boy is it cozy!!
