The article itself is sort of a mediocre exposé on Senator Obama's record and rhetoric. Nothing special here; just some blogger trying to be "evenhanded" and "objective" in discussing the most liberal and least experienced major-party presidential candidate in several generations.
The comments, though, are very interesting. That is what I would really like FReepers to take a look at. There is a borderline-spam comment from a Hillary shill, some semi-literate ramblings from a black nationalist, and a bunch of progressives talking about how wonderful they think Obama is, and what horrible human beings his detractors are.
There is a lone conservative voice in the comments section (uh, me), and I think I'm pretty thoroughly defeating their arguments with logic and facts and references, but it still feels like an uphill slog fighting this battle alone. I'd appreciate it if a few FReepers took the time to read some of the comments and perhaps chime in. There is no registration or moderation of comments, although there is apparently a "comments editor" who is one of these "progressives" who will look for excuses to censor comments he ideologically disagrees with. So, I recommend not giving him an excuse (no profanity, etc.)
Thanks, and enjoy. =}
Obama: The Candidate of ‘Change Du Jour!’
As I said in another post today. he’s a Washington insifer and a Chicago machine politician, hence a champion of the Status Quo, not a change agent.
That’s not to say he wouldn’t push this country over the edge into Communism and Islam - I think he would. His change is for the worse. Failure to him!
Excuse the typos.
