Missiles launched at our fleet en masse from shore could be a concern as well. ....especially their new Russian-made SSN-X-26 Yakhont cruise missiles.
Carpet bombing the shoreline to remove their launchers has to be one of the first plays in securing the straits. Sinking their PT navy is probably the job of helicopters. I have every faith in the US Navy to go hot against any and all threats if it comes to a shooting war.
