Sad story. Feel bad for the parents who are probably just findout this evening. From the article it appears the kids claerly jumped two fences that were clearly marked for them to stay out. A month or so at a Braves game a 25 year old man was sliding down the rails along a set of stairs and he feel to his death. People just don’t think anymore.

The boy was with a group from Oakley Spring Baptist Church in Salley, S.C. He had been in Six Flags earlier in the day, but he and another boy left the park property to get some lunch, according to Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce. Rather than returning to the park through the regular entrance, the two boys took a shortcut, Pierce said.
So they took off without permission or knowledge and tried to sneak back in. Sad.

According to the police and a statement from the amusement park, the boy and a friend climbed over two 6-foot fences -- the park perimeter fence and a second one surrounding the ride -- to get to the roller coaster. Park officials said there were numerous signs warning would-be intruders of the danger. The victim was decapitated when the ride struck him, police said...

Prayers for the family of this young man, and for those who were unfortunate to have witnesses this horrible accident. I wish that the young man had heeded the danger signs and used better judgement.

Luckily, no one on the ride was injured. Prayers for those poor riders who had to witness it.

Sad story. What the kid did was very dumb, but teenagers often do dumb things without considering the consequences. “The really bad stuff only happens to other people”, and all that.
Prayers for the family and friends of the victim.

I lived in ga for 10 years. It is a hell of a long walk from that park to get a bite to eat. Besides crossing a 6 lane interstate highway. I smell bs. Besides there is so much food in that park you could literally explode.

I feel badly for the kid’s family, but it looks like another Darwin Nominee.
They don’t put up fences and keep out signs for fun. I’m sad that this kid had to pay the ultimate price for his foolishness. Over a bloody HAT!
