Indeed, it is why the RAT “oh, it will take too long” argument is so maddening. It isn’t a matter of if anymore; it’s a matter of when someone pops a nuke. Where really doesn’t matter (except to the folks local to it, of course). The markets will tank everywhere. And that’s only one reason to DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW.
I believe a DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW campaign could really catch fire right now if somebody would do a good job organizing, spreading the word virally, etc. Shirts, bumper stickers, billboards, protests. I truly believe it’s something that could catch on in a big way and put major pressure on the idiots.
