Absolutely correct. He was born in HI, the issue disappears.

And that's really a two pronged proposition--he defeats you by proving he was born in HI; or he defeats you because you can't prove the negative--show he was born in Kenya for example. How secure are the records in Kenya? Do you suppose authorities there are going to preserve evidence that would disqualify him to serve as President of the US?

And I personally think if it does prove out that he was born in Kenya which is the current state of the record as far as I am concerned, the party is over for Obama.

Yes he’s toast if it is ever proved he’s lied or fake anything about his birth, or that’s my conclusion. I guess I wonder how secure the HI records really are.
