When was capital punishment last carried out in CA? Just wondering.

I think California has had about 12 executions in the last 30 years.

Incredibly, Gray Davis, the recalled liberal Democratic governor, signed most of the death warrants.

I was there when they shot him up, as was Jesse Jackson and his Black Muslim bodyguards.

Well actually, they left before the execution. Right after Joan Baez sang...What a circus that was!
