“I HOPE HE [MCCAIN] DIES BEFORE NOVEMBER!” said Obama Supporter.
The Real Democrat Party ^ | 06/27/08 | Quinn & Rose

When an Obama supporter hears something she didn’t like she decided to call and complain. The problem is she called the wrong radio show. She intended to call The Quinn & Rose Show, but instead got somebody else who also broadcast from the same building. If you need another example of just how tolerant and caring liberals aren’t. Listen to this caller hope McCain dies before November.

Liberal tolerance on display:

Republicans just can't stand well informed voters like this morning's caller.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

"So who is intolerant?"

Easy, the vicious Demagogues of the left who smear and slander anyone who gets in the way of their agenda.

This is the same nutcase, by the way, who called the station several months ago to complain about Rush “messing with the Democratic process” (i.e., Operation Chaos), and ominously said “he’d better watch himself when stepping outside.”
We need that clip. Quick, everybody start look!

I only meant that the anger among many conservatives (albeit not the iniquity) is nearly as high.

You're conflating anger (well-placed anger, I would add) with seething, blinding hatred.

They're not the same. They're not even close. We are not them. They are lunatics.

“who is Murry?”

Here's what wikipedia.org has to say about the matter:

A Brief History of Murrysville, Pa.

The first development in the area of Murrysville was Franklin Township, which was first listed on the Westmoreland County records in 1788, however, people had settled in Franklin earlier than 1788. William Meanor was the first settler to buy a claim from an Indian in exchange for a keg of tobacco and a rifle. In 1769, Robert Hays applied to the government for land and purchased 339 ½ acres for 45 pounds, 2 shillings and 6 pence.

In 1781, Jeremiah Murry came from Ireland to Pennsylvania, then onto Franklin Township. He acquired land near the Turtle Creek and build a cabin and grist mill, and he kept store near the current location of the Presbyterian Church. Soon after the Northern Turnpike was constructed through this area in 1819, Murry established the town of Murrysville in 1820. He originally purchased several hundred acres of land which he subdivided into streets and lots which he then sold to settlers. Michael Rugh, his wife Phoebe Hawkins, daughter Mary, and an infant son were captured by the Seneca Indians during the Revolutionary War in 1778. Mr. and Mrs. Rugh spent the remainder of the war in Canada, the infant died, and Mary was adopted by an old Indian squaw. Eight years later she was found with the tribe near the Susquehanna River and was later reconciled with her family.

In 1794, Mary married Jacob Haymaker. Their grandsons, Michael and Obediah Haymaker drilled the first gas well in the country in Murrysville in 1878. When gas was reached, there was a great explosion and fire extended 100 feet into the air. The fire burned for a year and a half before being controlled. Gas was later piped to Pittsburgh and other areas and used in place of coal.

Sure, I'm all psyched about the Colin Powell endorsement on MTP this morning. I'm very pleased to see that so many Republicans are seeing the light this year.

But given that Sunday is America's day of secular football idolatry, let's take a quick look at the pigskin endorsements in two key swing states.

In Florida, Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga has announced his plans to pack up his toys and go home if Obama wins the election, saying that he'll sell the team because of Obama's tax policies. After 15 years of plodding mediocrity under Huizenga (no Super Bowl wins, AFC Championships, or even AFC Championship Game appearances, compared to 2 Super Bowl wins, 5 AFC Championships, and 7 AFC Championship Game appearances in the 27 years prior to Huizenga), Dolphin fans are probably ready to thank Obama for ridding them of their pathetic owner. And baseball fans will remember Huizenga as the guy who dismantled two separate Florida Marlin World Series championship teams to pad his wallet. Bottom line? If an Obama presidency can get Wayne Huizenga out of the sports biz, that's change Miami sports fans can believe in.

Meanwhile, here in the Pittsburgh area, Steelers owner Dan Rooney -- possibly the most beloved guy in the city -- is campaigning for Obama in PA and OH with Ted Strickland and Steelworkers' President Leo Gerard.

Life is good.
