I may misunderstand your post, but there is no analysis that shows that there are temperature increases and furthermore there are no studies that prove temperature fluctuations are man-made. In fact there is not one single peer-reviewed study that proves that temperature is linked to C02. This is precisely why Mr. Hansen will not allow the temperature data to be released and why he will not publish the methodologies used by NASA when adjusting temperature data for errors. He knows that that real scientists would expose his errors and make him out as the fraud that he is. His career would end, the money would dry up and he would die a laughingstock. Any suggestion that Hansen has proof of man-made warming is pure speculation, a guess, until the data is properly analyzed.
I'm still not sure your guys aren't concerned about the “millions of tons” of CO2 that we put up into the atmosphere each year.
Actually, the amount of C02 that we put out each year is about 0.12% of the total effective greenhouse warming gases that are generated each year. Another 0.16% are other manmade causes (mostly methane). The other 99.72% of effective greenhouse gases are natural.
But millions of tons of CO2 is so much more alarming. (Its a BIG planet folks, in spite of that photo from the moon).
