But, for the record, I support free trade as a rock-bottom conservative principle. Being anti-free trade is an isolationist position associated with populism, not with conservatism.
As to legalization of drugs, I'm open-minded. I'd entertain the notion of treating them like we treat alcohol.
Does this make me an apostate in some way? If so, why isn't McCain an apostate?
