To think this stuff can be spouted off with little or no accountability.

theyve predicted app 31 hurricanes for the past two years and have recd none ... Can you clarify that statement? Nobody has predicted 31 hurricanes during the last 2 years (combined...or even the last 3) and we have had hurricanes...including two cat 5's last year (Dean, Felix).

So, to summarize, were doomed.
We're not just doomed, we're super-doomed. Anyone that doesn't get it yet, needs to read more of these stories and get with the program. You deniers should be rounded up and put into camps.

I thought the “intense Hurricanes” claim for global warming had already been disproven.

So ... back in the early 70’s (April ‘74 I think) ... just a few years after I was warned in my Weekly Reader the earth was heading to another Ice Age ... hundreds of tornadoes touched down nation-wide and wreaked havoc. Wiped out Xenia Ohio ... Cincinatti got hit hard ... and now, 30 years later, I am in Michigan enjoying the most wonderful cool spring/early summer in memory. We had a line of very severe t-storms pass through last week. Knocked out power to nearly 1/2 M. And?
They don't know shit.

Interesting that this would come out after the DRILL NOW campaign has really gotten HUGE momentum. I don’t believe a word of it. We have had weird weather for a few years now so I wouldn’t be surprised if we had a bad hurricane and more tornadoes but that does NOT mean it’s a result of global warming.

The temperature was low enough to cause our furnace to come on this morning, June 19th. That means it had to drop below 64 degrees in the house.
There was snow here in Upstate New York on the last day of April.
