“How could someone not have a strong opinion about the War?!”

Easy. This is America. Unless someting affects “me” personally, it really doesn’t matter a whole lot. One thing that is affecting ALL Americans every day now is the high price of fuel and food. A war half a world away that most of them have no loved one personally serving in? Doesn’t make the top of the list anymore. In my opinion, it probably should, but we are a very selfish people in a lot of ways and the only thing that matters is what directly affects “my” life.

Unless you are serving, have served (in Iraq) or have a loved one who is/has the war doesn’t really mean much.

I should have phrased the question differently:

How can any non-Moron not care about the War?
