You'd as likely see a gun rack on a pickup in Turlock as you would in Texas. There are billboards along Hwy 99 that quate scripture in big white letters on a black background.

That precious little boy who deserved to be loved and cherished is now in heaven. How much do you want to bet the man who killed him was not his biological father and/or not married to the baby's mother.

For those who are second guessing the actions of the witnesses, YOU WERE NOT THERE. You do not know all the facts and circumstances. It is very easy to armchair cowboy from the safety of your home. If the perp was on drugs, there are some that can give superhuman strength. Add to that the possibility that he might have had a weapon.

Thank God people did stop. And pity them for the horrific scene they will never be able to wash from their minds. Say a prayer for them, too.
