the ‘92 swarm. “swarm” is a good way to describe it. whew! However!, I did learn how cool it was to be outside experiencing the quake— the trees looked like giant pompoms.

It was a Saturday around noon and I was at work. A woman pulled up in a Mini-Van and got out just as it hit and I looked across Broadway and the power poles were going one way and the wires were going the other. Glass was shattering in in buildings and traffic came to a near stop. I looked back at the woman just as she was knocked down in the parking lot.

We didn't loose any windows in our building but I can't remember if the power went out?
