So the “grown up” thing to do is abandon all principles, vote for evil, thus encouraging the growth of MORE evil and call that a GOOD thing? The “grown up” thing to do is shut your eyes to someone’s actual RECORD and proclaim that person as a good choice? The “grown up” thing to do is to forsake whatever goodness might lie within you to put an evil toady of the Left into the once-Whitehouse just so an EQUALLY evil person (who wears a different talisman) WON’T get in there? How do you ever explain to your kids the difference between good and evil if you keep behaving in this “grown up” way? How do you teach them to AVOID evil if you REWARD it?
The very last time I voted for the lesser evil was in 1972, for Richard Nixon. And the ONLY reason I did so was because his Phase II troop withdrawals from Vietnam took me out of harm’s way. A is still A and evil is yet evil, no matter the label it wears. A thing is yet itself, constant and unchangeable. One cannot make a silk purse from a sow’s ear no matter how much wishful thinking goes into the effort. So please do GROW UP and develop some actual principles. They’ll stand you in good stead one day. Perhaps sooner than you think.
