My oldest daughter just returned from 3 weeks teaching at an English camp in Thailand...she has to return to school in early August due to her on campus job so that doesn't leave much time to get a job here in town this summer...besides most of the jobs are taken already by now due to this also being a college town and a town where most of the factories have recently closed. So she has decided to audit a class on the US in Vietnam at the local university to fill in her time until she goes back to school-she doesn't need the credit-she just wanted to learn more about the topic.

My youngest just graduated from high school last week and has no job prospects but since she will be leaving for college in a few months as well, it's not likely anyone would hire her at this late date even if there were jobs to be had. She has to go to her school's freshman orientation program next month so she plans to see what on campus jobs might be available for in the fall. I'm ok with letting her enjoy her last few months here with her friends since they will all be going off to different schools in the fall.
