WorldNetDaily would do a lot more to relieve ignorance if they even attempted to maintain reasonable journalistic standards. I read stories like this, and they certainly seem outrageous, but it's hard to know how much to believe.

For instance, the article provides no support for the claim that the pastor was ordered to "renouce his faith." Yes, he was ordered to stop preaching against homosexuality, but this really is not the same thing. The decision to sensationalize the writing (as if such blatant limits of free speech in Canada are not serious enough by themselves) seriously damages the article's credibility.
