In all good humour kellynla, what has happened here is that some of us and including myself know that the struggle for Canada is in the offing.

The Conservatives under Harper, inched into power with a minority government. This year we will likely go to the polls. We(some of us) are therefore protective of this minority. Teddy Roosevelt said "speak softly and carry a big stick". This hopefully is what Stephen Harper is doing.

I said the title was technically correct. I think I was wrong. The only excuse for that title, would be if the Liberals were in power and their minions in the provinces were carrying on their nefarious work.

On your presidential election hang the rights of Americans. On our next election federally, indeed hang the rights of Canadians. We are in the same boat.

Excuse the rant. Just had to fire away before I tune in to the "Doctor of Democracy". (chuckle)

Maybe not, but if California, Texas, Illinois and New York (along with the smaller states around them) did so, following Washington’s example, then I would be scared.

So far we’ve had Tribunals or Commissions is B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario, along with their federal equivalent, target Christians over their faith.

I don't have time (or often the ability) to do the independent research to confirm everything I read in WND. All I claimed was that WND would be more effective if they maintained such credibility that there were no need to independently confirm claims they make. I don't see how you can argue with this.

As far as the accuracy of the piece, yes, most of it is clearly accurate, but a few sentences stretch and sensationalize the truth, and make it difficult to know what I can confidently repeat and believe without further research.

I hope that those faithful to the Teachings of Christ have the will to counter sue for reasons of “frivolous law suit” and for the ridiculous legal fines, the Faithful repay with generous amounts of Holy Water, Mass Cards, and prayer (especially the Holy Rosary).
