Hillary’s giving her concession speech today at noon. Her campaign will run the full statement on her website. You’ll be able to find it everywhere else on TV and the Internet, too. But if you view it at hillaryclinton.com, you’ll get something extra special: A bombardment of donation requests. She’s buried in debt–now at $30 million– and begging for cash.

Today, Hillary puts her nice mask on...

The problem is that we have nominated the party’s maverick as our standard bearer. The GOP base is not going to turn out for McCain who believes he can win by out Democrating the Democrats. It won’t work.

There’s only one song I can think about right now.

Wizard of Oz “ding dong the witch is dead, the witch is dead, the witch is dead, ding dong the wicked witch is dead”.

Politically speaking of course.

"The Dems have a nominee that represents their base..."

Actually, they have two. McCain and Obama agree on ANWAR, illegals, global warming, and tax cuts (I know McCain flipped claiming he's for them now, he'll flop back if elected). Dems know the "Maverick" will come through for them if elected.

You are correct, they have two. I was emphasizing the lack of a candidate for Republicans to support with equal fervor. McCain is Obama-Lite.

That was an interesting essay. I’ve been hoping for the donkeys to join the Whigs for some time now. If the GOP blows it this November, it may be the GOP who joins the Whigs, thanks to spineless RINOs, IMHO. If the GOP escapes that fate, it will be due to the donkeys’ own undoing from within.

I’m starting to suspect that one party will splinter before this election, and the other party will splinter after it.

"They’re lucky and don’t even know it."

Oh contrair my dear, they know. That's why the feminists are threatening to vote McCain. Once they calm down they won't of course, only because of McCain's pro-life stance. Some however have taken note of his tax cut flip-flop and they may hold out hope for a pro-life flop if elected. Really, it's not like the Maverick hasn't set the precedent for taking politically expedient positions.

Most of these women are liberals first, femi-nazis second.

I don't know. "Hell hath no fury..." and all that kind of thing.

Absolutely, for some of them (those “bitter clingers”), but hardly enough to blow up the Obamaina Death Star.

Well, We know she doesn’t have enough money to attract the GIGOLO of ALL Time, the one and only Lurch, also known for his lookalike: Ichabod Crane, the one and only HANOI WAR Hero to run for POTUS!

Bubba’s the one with the $109 million. This dame is going nowhere.

It was always about power, now it’s about money.

“It makes us feel schizophrenic,” said Martha Burk, immediate past chair of the National Council of Women’s Organizations. “For the first time in history, we can see that a woman can and will be president,” she said. But the campaign, which Burk and many other feminists said was riddled with sexist attacks in the media, “exposed barriers that we thought we had overcome years ago,” she said.

I am unsurprised but nauseated that 'Ms' Burk is still capable of making news. For those who may care, Ms Burk's most infamous claim to fame was her 'crusade' against the Masters Golf Tournament and its sponsors and organizers. That she would be a genderist supporter of HRC is typical of the mentality to be expected by such.

I am of an age that remembers the virulent attacks by feminists on the liberal GOP Senator Bob Packwood (resigned under threat of expulsion in 1995) for offenses that 3 years later were winked at when committed by PRESIDENT Clinton. In spite of all this heat, thses people will gravitate to the power and support the liberal, statist candidate, BHO!
