The Bush Admin has been fear mongering for 8 years now, I think the general public has become numb to it. The Author is correct. If Repubs try to run on fear this year, they're going to find the public has hear it all before and wants something more substantive.

They need to kill bin Laden and his lieutenants (wherever they are hiding), and smash the Iranians (at least their “navy” and their “advisers” in Iraq) and run on Victory!
Unfortunately, they're kinda out of time...

They should be afraid. Do you think we’ve forgotten that Muslims are trying to kill us? Do you think we’re going to do nothing and let one slip in the White House.

Below are a few lines from Obama’s books “ in his own words:

From Dreams of My Father: “I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.”

From Dreams of My Father: “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.”

From Dreams of My Father: “There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”

From Dreams of My Father: “It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.”

From Dreams of My Father: “I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.”

From Audacity of Hope: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

When? As far as I can tell this Administration doesn't feel the need to explain a thing to the citizens.

“Fear mongering?”

GTFO, disruptor. Unlike you, I remember 9/11, I have friends in harm’s way, and I’ve watched the jihadist facists carefully during the last 7.5 years. “Fear mongering” about a real, present, and deadly danger to my country? No, it is called being truthful. You’re repeating the swill of the socialists/marxists and other anti-american forces in the Left. Just saying that proves you’re a disruptor, chief.

If you think that responding to the terrorists is “fear mongering”, well, then you’re either seriously ill (and if so, I hope you recover) or you’re a dupe and an enemy.
